Phyla Zambia is laying out plans to train a group of local women – including single mothers, orphans and widows – in tree planting and care. As we regenerate degraded and polluted landscapes in Zambia with trees that produce bio-energy and fertiliser for food crops and commercial products, we would like to provide opportunities for local communities and enable women to support their families.  Our goal at Phyla Zambia is to obtain project finance to provide a stipend to the women to employ them on larger tree planting projects, supporting the environment, their families and the larger community.
